How to Reach our Camp.

Our campsite is located in the north side of Jim Corbett, near the old British town of Kotdwar on the banks of the river Khoh. Did you know that Kotdwar Railway Station, established in 1890 by the Britishers is one of the oldest railway stations in the country and the 1st passenger train started from here way back in the year 1901. Therefore Kotdwar is well connected by rail across India.

[caption id="attachment_2744" align="alignnone" width="620"] Built by the Britishers, Kotdwar Railway Station is one of the oldest railway stations in India. The first train left the station way back in 1901.[/caption]

If you are planning to come by road from Delhi, you will need to follow the Delhi - Meerut - Pauri Highway No.NH44. The road distance from Delhi to Kotdwar is approx 220 kms and takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach, depending on traffic and road conditions. The route to follow is Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bijnor, Kiratpur, Najibabad to Kotdwar.

On reaching Kotdwar you will report to our Jungle Camp’s Kotdwar office (which is in the main market). From here you will be escorted to the campsite at Ramisera by our Camp Officers (around 40 kms).
